Hi, this is a bit of a strange question but can you call and text on Skype with the new iPod touch (4G) I currently have the iPod touch 1G but as it has no microphone I cant use it for calls. But I am assuming the new one has a microphone as it has facetime. so can this microphone be used for calls with the Skype app??, or is it just limited to the iPhone. I can then access both BT and Skype wi-fi hotspots which are available near where I live. It would be great if it could then I wouldn’t have to carry a phone an an iPod around. The iPhone is just too expensive for me

As it was coming up to christmas i was wondering whether i should get an ipod touch (or any good similar products from other companies if there are any?). My phone is ok but i only use it to text, its no iphone etc and was pretty cheap. I also have an ipod nano 4g. I was thinking of using the nano for music when im out on a run or long journey etc and the touch as like a mini computer for everything.
Also should i bother getting the 4g, should i just get the 2g. Whats the difference apart from the camera which im not bothered about. Also any other good touches not made from apple please feel free to talk about.
I do give lots for christmas and do christmas boxes so please don’t say im selfish, spoilt or whatever

I bought a HTC Wildfire S and have had problems with it. The battery keeps running out even when wifi is switched off. I was thinking of changing it with the BB Curve 3G and buy a refurbished ipod touch 4G, as I know the camera with the BB is rubish but the ipod camera is it like the one in the iphone 4 phone? Those it have flash? Is this a good idea or shall I consider something else?

Well theres only one game with the accelerometer functions, which is free, but all other games with this function are with the ipod touch and iphone, anyone know if theres any new games for the 4g nano.

So basically I want a new phone. It was a choice between either the new iPhone 4 or Blackberry 8520. The main issue for me was changing to contract as I can’t afford it at this moment in time.. So I crossed the iPhone off the list. Plus I want the new iPod Touch 4G.. which the iPhone would kill the two birds with the one stone where that’s concerned. You can get the Blackberry on Pay As You Go with 02.. it seems the only SIM card it allows me to have is the Text & Web.. which I don’t want (currently on 02 unlimited.. which I’m happy with & prefer) would my 02 unlimited SIM work with the blackberry? I’m not really interested in using the internet on it as I’ll have the iPod Touch. Will calls & texts work on it?

i cant decide which phone to get out of the htc evo shift the htc evo 4g the htc thunderbolt 4g or the iphone. i want a phone with good quality for games and phone calls and good for watching alot of movies or youtube.i cant really afford to spend more than 400 dollars on the phone, the bill comes later! im prob going to get a contract with whatever phone i get so i want a phone im most likely going to keep for awhile and not have a bunch of probs with. i also want a phone with a very good camera becuz i make alot a videos and i dont want bad quality. i already have an ipod touch so i know what the iphone is like and my cuzin has the iphone and my other cuzin has the htc evo 4g shift. idk which one would suit me best i really want one with all of those qualitys and it has to be fast becuz i hate it when my phone is slow and freezes!so PLZZZZ HELP ME!!!

I’m trying to have my photos the same as the picture above. I took my pictures but every time i try to edit in photoshop to remove the background and enhance the image, it always has blurry edges, and incorrect lighting. Is there any secret or a way to take photos of the same quality and make it of high standard..

Ok, im 17 and im wanting to get an iphone 4g on contract with o2. The problem is you have to be 18 to open a contract. So I went to Phones 4 U today and talked to someone there and they said that I could open a contract under someone Else’s name but with my bank account. Does anyone know if this is possible?

Also can anyone think of any other solutions to the problem. If it helps I will start work full time with the RAF in 3 weeks so will have the credit every month.

On Friday I ordered an iPhone 3G Reconditioned phone from the O2 website. At the time, the item was still in stock, and I got an email that night saying thank for your order. In the email, it also said that if I had ordered something, they would be in touch shortly to let me know if it has been accepted and when it will be dispatched, although they already gave me a date and time of day to expect the delivery to my door.

However, when I checked the O2 website yesterday morning, it said “Please note: iPhone Reconditioned 3G 8GB Black is currently not available”. You can see that here http://shop.o2.co.uk/promo/iphoneindex/Pay_Monthly/Reconditioned_3G.

However, later on that day, when checking my orders, all of a sudden a box popped up telling me of my order number, the delivery option (next day delivery), what the item was etc and the order status. On the status, it said “in progress”. Well I was hoping that the webpage would explain things, but no, it doesn’t.

Still this morning, I have had no confirmation email, no rejection email, and the status is still reads “In Progress”. So I am left wondering if the item will turn up at all? I would have thought that since I ordered it before the website said it’s unavailable, I should get the item on the date they originally said.

My thought is this, see if you agree.

Friday, after 5pm I ordered the iPhone. On the website, it says that any orders received before 5pm from Mon-Fri will get a next day delivery, but ones ordered after that will get the item on monday.

So maybe, this is what has happened:

Friday – iPhone ordered, email with date and time is sent by O2.

Saturday – Last iPhone 3G’s in stock by O2 are ordered, and no others are going to be available, because of the soon to be launched iPhone 4G (Quite ironic that it’s launched one day after my birthday) will push the 3GS back into the 3G’s place discontinuing it. Also on the same day, my order details are confirmed on O2′s website. Now it says “In progress”, probably meaning that it has been accepted, and that they are getting it ready for next day delivery.

Sunday – Well, the O2 website does not list this day in it’s delivery times, so I’m guessing that they have left it on “In Progress” ready for Monday when they will deliver it to the nearest warehouse, and hopefully the next day the order will read “completed” and on the same day it will be sent straight to my house.

So, do you think that I have just answered my own complicated question above, or have you got another idea? Please reply below.

hey everyone this is what i need help on. i really want an iphone 4g but i cant be bothered waiting for it at the moment and i also just sold my nokia n97 to a trade in site and got about £165 for it which is to pay for the iphone 4g when it comes out also iam using a really rubbish phone which i can not stand using for another month or so because iphone 4g doesnt come out till about mid june/early july so dont know. i have seen an iphone 3gs which i can get for £300 and i think i could do this….get it then keep it for about a month until iphone 4g out then sell it on to a trade in site but the problem here is i can get about £305 on a trade in site but iam not sure how fast the vaule on the site will go down in the next month. please help guys tell me wat use think i should do. wait for the iphone 4g or get the iphone 3gs then sell on trade in site thanks
