Okay atm i have an LG cookie kp501 and since orange joined signal with t-mobile i get signal where i live, but my sister has a Blackberry and when she comes 2 mine her signal isnt so good but we are on the same network. i really want to get a blackberry but whats the point if ill get no signal?
it just depends on the network not the phone

If you get one on contract and it doesn’t work, you have 14 days to return and cancel it under consumer credit law. How is the performance of other networks in your area? O2 and Vodafone for instance? If these are stronger, then you might want to consider joining them, rather than Orange/Tmobile.
blackberry phones are normally real good for picking up signals, next time your sister is there go onto the t-mobile website, you can put in your postcode and it will show you how good your signal should be.
You must check the carrier’s coverage maps….that’s the key. My carrier provides very good coverage for my blackberry which gets a very good signal…heck it even carries over up to 2 miles south of the US-Mexico border….I live about an hour north of that border.
