GPS does not use Data, AGPS does.
Wi-Fi Networks do not use data, they use our own wireless networks.
To play it safe, modify the Access point of your WAP by adding a letter to it somewhere in its’ address, that will stop your phone from being able to use data completely how would i do this?
I have a contract which suits me great- unlimited texts and internet and not very many minutes, and I really want a Blackberry. (And my contract stops in another few months and I don’t want to wait)
Do you still get BBM etc when you don’t have an contract for Blackberry? Thanks
im debating whether to get the 3gs 16gb with o2 for £35 a month. since apple have not announced if there is going to be a new (4g?) iphone on the horizon, do u guys think getting tied into a 2 year contract is a good or bad idea? ive never owned an iphone but everyone i talk to reckons they are mint but they are expensive!

I have a blackberry 8900 and i really want a crystallised phone case, like katie price’s. Ive looked on ebay, and even purchased one. However, it was poorly made and looked like crap. So i won’t buy one off there again. Anyone know any places/websites that would sell them?
I have a connection cable that came with the phone, but only seem to be able to transfer from phone to laptop, but not the other way round.
Need a new phone, and its between these too. Blackberry’s always seem to brake down or have faults after a few months. Sony Ericssons are very good but i’ve read a few dodgy reviews about it, although it seems very smart!!!
I’m a bit paranoid about using up my 250mb allowance and understand turning data services off stops the internet only allowing calls and texts? I keep doing this regularly is that doing it any harm? Also my ‘while roaming’ option is off, what is that? Havn’t noticed it not doing anything
New to all this Blackberry stuff, so sorry if it’s a stupid question!
My former Blackberry, the Pearl, had a button in which I could press to see “unread” texts (I believe it was the # or *) and had another button (similar) to return to the top of the messages. Does My Curve 8520 have the same feature? If so, I’ve been unable to find those magic buttons!
Also – I text ALOT and would like to ‘Delete All’ SMS messages on occasion. Is this possible?
hi just got a iphone and want some good cool apps not into games and rubbish like that more into spy, tracking ,gps you get my drift just cool stuff
I want to use the Blackberry Instant messaging and Facebook on my phone but someone said I need a data plan?
I am a pay as you go T-Mobile customer in the UK. How do I go about getting a data plan and how much will it cost?
